Who Says You Need A Videographer?

A videographer is something else to consider when it comes to your wedding. Everyone has their preference for whether or not they'd like one at their wedding, but here are a few things to consider before making that final decision.
  • They're pretty pricey. Do you want to spend a good chunk of money on a videographer or would you rather spend that money on something else that is more important to you (dress, invitations, food, etc.)?
  • A video of your wedding pretty much captures everything that photos do. So you're pretty much paying double for 2 of the same thing.
  • When you have a videographer, less photos are taken. This is because the photographer isn't going to stand in front of the video camera, therefore they have less opportunity for taking pictures.
  • Most people don't watch their video of their wedding. It usually just sits on the shelf, collecting dust. If that's the case, then that was money ill spent.
So seriously consider these things and the importance of a wedding day video to you before you make your decision. It may be really important to you and you may watch it often. Only you can make that decision!
