Gift Registration

This can either be a fun experience or a dreaded one! A great way to go about it, is to print the master list at Bed Bath and Beyond's website. They have everything listed that you could ever imagine. From there, check off all the things you need and want. Then make a list of all the items you ALREADY own. Compare the 2 lists to eliminate items that you need to register for.

Now that you have a list of all the things you want and need, go have fun and look up those items on different websites! Bed Bath and Beyond (B3), Target, Pottery Barn, IKEA, etc. This way when you go to the stores, you already have an idea of what you're going to register for. You may like silverware from Target, but want to get your dinnerware from B3, and that's all good, because you can register at more then one store. Actually, it's the norm to register at 2 or more stores.

A Dyson vacuum or Kitchen Aid mixer may be on your wish list, but you probably won't put it on your registry, because you don't think there is ANY way someone will get that for you. Put it on your registry anyway! You might be surprised. If people go in on a group gift, the vacuum or mixer could be that gift! I wouldn't have my Dyson or Kitchen Aid if I hadn't put them on our registry. We didn't think we'd get those, but we were pleasantly surprised! We got both as a result of a group gift. It was awesome to get those! SO, don't underestimate people, register for those wish list gifts!
