Being prepared is a big key to your wedding day success! The more you have set in stone and feel comfortable with, the better your day will go. So begin the whole "hairy" process by looking up various hair styles. Look in all sorts of magazines, google search, look up wedding websites, and more. You may already know or have an idea of what hair-do you'd like, but it's always wise to take a good browse. Just in case, ya know.
You'll want to consider the style of your wedding dress as well. You want the style of your hair-do to match that of your dress. There are so many different looks you can go with!
But no matter what hair-do you go with and who is styling it, you need to experiment with it. Don't wake up the morning of your bridal photo session or wedding and just try to create the hair-do you want. That could be a DisAster and cause a serious amount of stress and tears! So this means you need to have your stylist do it before the day of your photo's or wedding. This trial session is the time to perfect your hair-do. If you don't like something, speak up!!! Don't be afraid you'll hurt your stylist's feelings; you can say it nicely so you won't. It is your big day after all. If you are doing it yourself, that's the time for you to perfect the process and familiarize yourself with how you did it and the result you want.
BUT my strong advice to you, is not to do it yourself. You'll just be putting more on your plate and causing yourself undue stress. It doesn't have to be some high-end stylist, just someone besides yourself.
